I HAVE A '92 SUPERCAB LONGBED WITH AN 4.9L INLINE 300. I AM AVERAGING @ 12 MILES A GALLON. IS THAT PRETTY NORMAL? I DO HAVE A SMALL EXHAUST LEAK. WILL THIS ADD TO THE BAD MILEAGE?

THANKS!
Mileage reports from folks here range from 10ish to 15ish, depending on the year, the engine, the weight, and how heavy their foot is.
I don't think what you are getting is out of line.
Exhaust leaks generally don't hurt mileage unless the leak is before the o2 sensor.
I was shocked to get just under 16mpg in my '97 Supercab with the 5.8L on a recent 120 mile highway trip. Oddly, the truck used about twice as much gas headed in the other direction (no, not uphill in only one direction).
i just bought my truck two months ago. in below freezing temperatures and about 80% highway(75mph) i got 17mpg every fillup. i'm hopeing to get 19 in the summer. not bad for 100k miles.
Get your exhaust leak fixed. It boosted mine up to about 16 from 12. Ran a ton better for some reason. My mechanic said the intake was leaking a bit. You will love the quiet, trust me
I'm getting between 7 and 10 with mine. Its also a 4X4 crew 350 with a 460. The quality of gas in your area will play a major role in mileage. With the winter gas in my area I was getting 5 , with good summer mix I have got as high as 14
