Hi and welcome to FTE. Sounds like clutch is worn out, take it to a trans shop and they usually test drive for free. Also shop around with pricing and make sure the job is complete. I would recommend, NEW CLUTCH ASSEMBLY( ONLY), New Slave cylinder, machine flywheel and pilot bearing if needed. Consider the warranty for each shop. Short warranty, not the place to do business. Yes, Trans shops do driveline repairs and /or replacements. As for the ASAP thing, slippage will only get worse, but if you drive easy, it could last a good while. Good luck.
