Can someone tell me what exactly an FDAF assesment is. I saw it on an order confirmation. They charged 270.00 for it. I'm really curious to what it is if someone can help.
It stands for Ford Dealer Advertising Fund. You'll find it on all invoices because it's a charge to the dealer. It varies by region. Because it's not listed on www.kbb.com or www.edmunds.com people often think that the dealer is trying to rip them off, but it's a legit charge. BTW, the other charge that throws people off is the fuel charge, which is also something charged to the dealer. Ford has to put some gas into the truck so it can be driven on and off transports.
