Rough Country Suspension??
Has anyone ever used Rough Country? I know they have been around for a while, but I am wondering about things like ride quality, spring settling, etc. I have just purchased a clean '91 F-250 4x4 and I am looking for a decent 4" lift that won't cost me more than the truck did... Thanks for your input!

Rough Country Suspension??
I rode in a couple trucks with that suspension but it was back in the late 70's and early 80's. I haven't seen that brand since then. Seems to me they were as good as any other name brand and performed well off road.

Thanks for the reply. I solved the problem however. 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers was feeling gracious today and cut me a deal on a Skyjacker kit, which I have heard from a lot of people to be of high quality and good ride. Any comments on that? Thanks again.

Rough Country Suspension??
I have an 01 F350SD with the powerstroke and the skyjacker 4" lift. The ride after the kit install was about the same as stock. Little less body roll on the corners, better bite on acceleration. It definately handled the bumps better but, as you've read, Ford shocks suck.
Shortly after I 'jacked the truck I put 315/75R16 BF Goodrich AT all the way around on it. The tires made the ride MUCH softer.
