Auto hubs will suffer from mechanical failure with anything more than ls. Detroit True Tracs (gear driven ls) may have been the culprit in premature failure of 2 sets of autohubs on my F250 HD. It was under warranty and it now has Warn manuals.
auto's will work, but iim not sure how long they would last, plus you would never be able to unlock just one for a better truning radius...like you can with manuals
