i just got back from Club Dread, the movie made by "broken lizard" ( makers of Super Troopers )
i liked it, it was worth the $5.25 i guess, personally though i prefer Super Troopers over this one but my friends think this was just as good or better than super troopers. must be all the naked ladies.
ill give it a thumbs up.
p.s. the theater parking lot was packed beyond belief... "Passions of the christ" seemed to draw alot of movie go-ers... whats the big deal? what scares me though is there will probably be some nut case religious psycho sitting in the middle of one of the "passion of the christ" showings, with a fire-works display strepped to his chest.
I watched Club Dread last night, but I was not very impressed. I liked Super Troopers quite a bit, but Club Dread just didn't seem to be very funny. Maybe I was not in the right mood. I watched Eurotrip last weekend and I didn't care for it either. Thats a total of $15 for movies that did not entertain as well as expected. Oh well.
Yea, ya gotta watch what kinda mood your in when your out spending money on movies. Movies dont much change my mood.
First time I saw Jackass I though it was made with some of the most ignorant drunk and drugged morons on the planet. I was in a foul mood. The second time, I thought all the same stuff, but kinda funny.
Sometimes its just gotta be an old John Wayne war movie kinda day.
My wife is draggin me to the passion wednesday. Let ya know how that works out.
Jackass is a funny movie, but some things would have been better left out of it. I thought that parts were very funny and I enjoy the show. The people who I went with did not like it very much, but they need to lighten up a bit.
I loved the show......watched it constantly. But the movie was a little screwed up. The papercut thing was too much for me. I hate those things. I loved the hotwheel and the tattoo in a jeep, but the paper cuts were a little much.
Too bad there will be no more.
I thought Club Dread wasn't a very well made movie. I felt like I was watching a cheapo ****-type movie that they play on the movie channels late at night. The plot wasn't very original either. Definately not worth the 6 bucks. I would have rather sat through Drew Barrymore.
