Surge at idle

When I first start my truck up and after it is done with its elevated idle warm up, it surges(sometimes stalls) and the batt needle moves a bit. After I give it some gas for a couple of second it stops. Any ideas?

check and clean the IAC valve, check and clean your throttle body, check for vacumn leaks, and last but not least check foer codes

There are codes, but not for the IAC. O2 sens, ECT, ect.... How do i ck the IAC, do a voltage/resistance ck?

Never mind, I pulled the thing off, cleaned it and it works fine. Better idle, no stalling or the like. Just alot of grime and crap built up.
