Changing fluid in Torque converter

How do I re-fill the fluid in my torque converter once I have drained it? I have a 4R100 in a 2001 F250 Super-Duty. Does the fluid automatically remix with fluid in the case? I have changed the fluid in the case and the filter.

So if I just fill the tube that goes into the case, how does the fluid reach the torque converter? It is a separate part.

The fluid is pumped thru the tranny by the pump ,after the fluid comes out of the converter it goes to the cooler. After you drain out all the fluid don't put all the fluid back in the tranny all at once, but about 6-7 qts in then start it and continue to fill tranny to spec.If you don't the fluid will come out of the vent on top of the tranny because the fluid that was in the converter can only get there by the pump which only works while it is running.confused yet??You'll be OK.Good luck
