choke stove question

choke stove question
Any other way to use a carb w/ auto choke (heat riser tube) on a manifold that was originally for man/electric w/no heat riser other than using a cheesy after-market choke stove kit.? Can an alternate heat source be used other than clamping something to the exhaust pipe?

this may be a reach,but, i think you can swap that choke for an electric one and then just wire it in ,bob

NAPA price on an electric choke conversion kit for a Holley 2300 is a little over $60.00. Only paid $50 for the carb and it runs great. Looking for a low (no) buck solution....thanx though Bob.
