Juice with Attitude Q's

What level do you run around town in? Should I only kick it in when I am towing?? If I keep it in #3 will my fuel mileage increase? The manual is a little vague.

I have the Edge with with Monitor, I use level 2 & 3 for towing and level 5 for anything else. I set my EGT at 1350.
