Question Where was mine built?

If "KC" in the VIN# corresponds to Kansas City, what is the "NB" in my VIN#?

The VIN# uses one letter to indicate the assembly plant. The "N" in your VIN indicates Norfolk, Va. The "B" is the first part of the production sequence number which is alpha numeric (A00001-E99999)

Mine was built in Virginia according to the sticker on the right corner of the windshield.

thorin and others.....

If you have (or are ordering) an F-150 SUPERCREW....it has (or will) be built in the Kansas City, MO plant....as ALL SUPERCREWS are currently built in that plant.

If you have (or are ordering) an F-150 REGULAR CAB or SUPERCAB.....it has (or will) be built in the Norfolk, VA plant.....as ALL REGUALR CABS and SUPERCABS are currently built in that plant.

Ford will be adding a NEW F-150 assembly plant in Michigan, sometime later this year.....but it is NOT running yet.

Hope this clears up any confusion you might have....

Kansas City builds 95% SuperCrews, so a few of the R/C and S/C models do get built there, but they're rare. And, no, that doesn't make them WORTH MORE!!
