I'm trying to come up with a good looking paint scheme for my 88 4X4.
I'm rather stump on this, I come up with lots of good ideas then begin to think about how tacky they could actually become.

Perhaps you could suggest some ideas for me.

It is a 88 F-150 XLT Lariet 4X4 with Burgany/Red interior

It will have black roll bars in the bed (haven't decided on double/single or triple douple yet)

It has black spoked wheels (like the ones on the nascar race cars)

I was thinking red with a black stripe down the side to cover some offset between the roll bars & wheels.

Maybe someone has photoshop programs can work something up for me? you never know.

 

Candy red with lots of clearcoat and a silver metallic down the side would look nice, like the factory 2-tone scheme...

 

Red with a black strip might be too much with black wheels and roll bar.

My favorites are the Burgundy with silver two tone and some of the red, Burgundy with silver, white and creme stripe combinations.
