88 ZF transmission problem

88 ZF transmission problem
I have a 1988 Ford Super Duty rollback with a 5 spd that is broken it is a ZF S 542 Does anyone know if the 94 and newer ZF S547 transmission will bolt up to the 7.3 diesel like the current broken ZF S542 transmission and function properly I am aware that there may be some ratio difference but if the newer trans would work, it would be great Gotta have a trans Help
