E40D Shifting Question
I recently installed an AFE intake a few months ago. Last week, I installed a Magna Flow 4 in exhaust with a 3 in down tube. Prior to installing the exhaust, the transmission shifted flawlessly. Now, when under heavy acceleration or under load, the transmission hesitates upon shifting on all gears. No other mods have been done, in other words, no re-programming/ chip. I own a 95 F-250, 7.3 PSD. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Do you think an aftermarket chip or programmer would solve the problem? Is the computer confused due to the additional flow? According to my Autometer gauges, I'm getting an extra 5lbs of boost on the high end.
