I was installing a news stereo and after I was done the rear speakers did not work. i have the up graded system in my eddie bauer expedition. I re-installed the factory radio and that didn't work either. i found a blown fuse and the facorty radio works but the rear speaker still don't work. I don't think they are blown. Any fuses I have over looked? Do the rear speaker have there own amp? I think they do but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure either, but someone on here was talking about their vehicle having an amp mounted in one of the rear quarter panel cavities.
Worst case is you can run new wires from the front all the way to the rear and hook them up like that. I would think the amp in your new stereo is a better quality one than the factory amp anyway.

I figured it out. The amp in the back that I thought just ran the sub actually is the amp for all the speakers. I asked several places that install car stereos and they said ther was a second amp but that's not what I found. Ford actually has 4 different mach one packages. I hooked up the clarion and disconnected the amp and everything works great.
