Hi Guys. As I metiond in another post I just got my first truck its a 1990 F-150 302 V8 Dule Tailpipes Its very nice ment condition only 41,000 miles on it but is there a way I can tell what kind of exuast it has. were looking at duel tailpipes and a Super [DEEP]
sound when it starts up im not shure if its Flowmasters,Gibson,or what??? but I dont think its glasspacks although its loud its a little more suttle than a glasspack or cherrybomb any help is appricated thanks.

What does the muffler(s) look like? If its a big case, like a standard muffler, then it is not a glasspack. They are ordinarily long tubes. Have you had a good look at the muffler itself? Normally the manufacturer will emboss their name or logo onto the case itself. If you say its super deep, I can pretty much rule Gibson out. They make the quietest systems on the market (low rumble, nothing you can hear coming). It could quite possibly be a Flowmaster muffler because they seem to be the leader in muffler sales (and reputation). It could also be a no-name muffler that was produced by an offbrand (like the generic grocery store brand versus "Coke").
