engine shutdown
I have a 1994 7.3 Turbo deisel that will shut down without warning then start back up without a cool off period...any ideas????? you guys have answered questions before and all we the right ones....thank you

I think the 7.3 forum is a better place for this question, you will probably get more answers. Does the check engine light come on? Sounds kinda like a crank position sensor. They are pretty common to go out on these engines. It controls injection timing and such. Take it to a local autozone or advance auto parts and they will pull the codes for free. Just because there is not a code does not mean it is not bad either, i do not put much faith into a box full of computer componants.
