Rear radio controls
Just wondering how I stop people in the rear seat from messing with the radio. I have a 98 expy and the controls are on the rear of the floor console. I noticed that on the radio display there is a little headphone icon.

Check the owner's manual if you have it. I *think* if you press the 3 and 5 keys simulateneoulsy while the radio is on, it disables the rear controls.
Of course you could just beat the crap out of your kids. (I'M JUST KIDDING!)

I ordered one though. I will give that a try. Believe it or not, it's the adults u have to worry about. lol.

don't know why Ford designed it this way, but whenever you shut off the radio and turn it back on, it defaults to the rear controls being ON, so you have to use the 3/5 button combo again. I don't know of a way to change the default. If you leave the radio on all the time, it doesn't defalut. Does anybody know if there's a way to change the default?
