broken temp gauge?

broken temp gauge?
my temp gauge has not been working for awhile on my 94 bronco. the needle wont even move when it is warmed up. i have tried to check the gauge by grounding it out like the manual said to do but i dont know if i was doing it right because it did not do anything. is there anything else i need to check

take the wire conecting to the sending unit and ground the wire, if the gaude dont move then check the wire for breaks, your problem will be the wire or the gauge, if it does move when you groung the wire then replace your sending unit. DW
