coolant filter
going to install a coolant filter this weekend,got the filter head from my caseih dealer fits ih 400 series engines found in ih 66 series tractors.thought about mounting it on the front of the fuel filter bracket or on the right fender,was going to put it inline in the hose going to the bottom of the radiator,i belive its return from the heater core but would like ideas from you guys as well.any info is appreciated,thanks.

well did the install this morning,mounted the filter head on the front of the fuel filter bracket and t'd into the heater hoses.was pretty simple to do and it looks pretty good to.if i can figure out how my scanner works i will get some pictures up.cost of the filter head-$20.00 filter-$15.00 misc.fittings-$10.00 5/8heater hose-$10.00.all this was my cost,nice to work for a CASEIH ag dealer once in a while.
