rear window wiper

rear window wiper

Does any one have suggestions on how to fix the rear wiper that does not contact back window all the way through the arc to clear it? i have a 200 explorer. I have noticed that othe explorers have the same problem. I have tried to bend the arm etc. Is this just a design error?

I believe its bad design. When I bought mine I went to the dealership annd they got me new one that works. I think you need to buy the updated part. Ask your ford dealer about getting one.

We took ours to the dealer and it was just a week arm cost about 30.00. It was covered under our warranty.

spending time and money is one way...but in my case i just bent the arm oh so lightly towards the glass, it took 5 min of trial and error, but that fixes it!!!!!!!!!!!!
