i have a buddy of mine who is selling a 3x2 stromberg 94's and an offenhauser alum intake for a 312 55'-57'. its in really nice shape,he restored and painted them. what do u figure they are worth. i think he's very high priced. i have a pic if looking helps to determine value.
thanks joel
94's aint Strombergs, they are Holleys.
Stromberg 97's are good for collectors, street rod posers and restorers, they are horribly inefficient carbs.
The Offy intake flows poorly and is good for EBay suckers. It shouldnt be painted either, it is aluminum; that takes offf more $$$.
What else do ya wanna know?
A good Edelbrock 573 or 553 sells for $125-150. Good 94 cores are $20 or so, rebuild kits a bit less. Figure on $350-400 for a complete bolt on, ready to run setup including fuel block, linkage and air cleaners.
