If that is only going to be on one side...I dont think it would look right. It might be ok if you ran one out each side in that location. I would still dump the exhaut behind the tires though, not in front.
I think that is would look a luttle funny but if you like it who cares. To bad you don't live here in New Mexcio. as long as your truck is older than a 72 you don't need to your exhaust to pass, so in this case i just took my exhaust off and my neighborhood couldn't have loved it more the first morning I started it up and took off down the street.
