temp sensing switch
I know Ford used some coolant temp sensor switches. I would like to find one to fit a 1/8 npt hole in the thermo housing that would complete a circuit untill the temp got up to 160 or so and then open. It's for a fast idle solenoid that I would use for cold idle help on the hot rod. Anyone know a part number or what to ask for at Ford?

If you set the vacuum advance up properly the existing temp switch should provide full manifold vacuum to the advance mechanism until the truck warms up increasing the idle speed. When warm it switches over to ported vacuum reducing idle speed. When it overheats it switches back to full vacuum to increase the idle speed again.
