Disc Brake Quiet?

Looking for some advise on this before I mess up! I just received my ART rotors! Have to say, they are beautiful! Hoping to put them on this weekend, but before I do, what is your thoughts on if I need to put a coating of the disc brake quiet goop on the back of the pads or not?
The pads that came with the set have what appears to be a thin layer of something that might be for that purpose, but I am not sure! Guess it wouldn't hurt to use some. I have it in a spray can that I have used for all my brakes before, and if I sprayed a nice layer on them and let the stuff dry, they would be ready to install tomorrow.
Just looking for your thoughts and knowlege on this one? Also, I am going to bleed my brakes with a vacuum pump I just purchased. Seems like this will be much easier than the old two person method. Have almost 30K miles now,and it is due for a fluid change/bleed. Looks like Ford recommends DOT 3 and I have an un-opened sealed bottle of Super Heavy Duty DOT3 Prestone Brake fluid. Assume this is ok to use.

You'll need more than ONE bottle. 30K miles sounds kind of premature for a full-system replenishment. If you go that route, why not blow dry all the lines and upgrade to DOT4? I use DOT4 in my 2-seater ... but didn't bother until it had 100K miles. Don't use DOT5 ... while it lasts awhile for race cars, extended use will see that stuff aerate some.

I just flushed the brake system today with DOT 3 since it is what the manual recommends. Went well with my new Mighty Vac pump!

Decided not to change the rotors and pads yet. The squealing I heard must have been some debris with all this salt and sand with the recent weather.

The existing brakes are in good shape, so going to hold on to the ART's for now and change them when I see the pads down a little more. Guessing I will get about 50K or more on the originals based on how much pad is left.
