My dealer told me that they just got the technology to reflash to a previous one.

Please excuse this inquiry: Would you let us know who the dealership is, for every other source on this issue has, in no uncertain terms, indicate that this cannot or Ford will not permit any rollback of reflashes. For it cannot be overstressed how important this would be, if shown to be true.
It will be interesting to see the answer.....
(( keep in mind, even though I do check in at that site -- there is simply no comparison, in terms of knowledge/expertise/calm debate, with this (our home) site. But we can still learn from others....))

Yes it can be done. It cant be with a downloaded WDS program though. Dealers also receive a CD version of each update, thats what needs to be used. The dealer however will not get paid by ford to do it, they might be willing if you pay for it (doubtfull though). Theres an article from a tech at another site thats done this on a 7.3, same process, different engine (still uses WDS). I know how some believe information can only be available at the mother-site, I have no such allegiance. I visit all sites daily and form my opinion of the facts based on the info from all those sites.

It's not blinders --- for me it's free choice...
Just like I chose the 6.oh Ex
used to be a regular contributor of the other site until the tone changed thanks to a few bad eggs that were allowed to slander and belittle any and all... Even gloated in their simple "accomplishments"....
so personally I just choose to be here...
