i have a 03 with a 6.0 engie stall while driving.happed about 4 time.starts right back up. wife almost got in a bad accident anyone else have the same problem.help dealer cant fix
I had a wiring harness repaired after only 419 miles. The truck had to be towed in. Subsequently the truck has died on me 5 times. I did return to the dealer after the second incident. (It would restart.) They had it for three days and found nothing. They tried to tell me I had bad fuel. It's still dying in traffic. I'm going to go back one more time. They won't find anything. I guess we'll have to wait for a service bulletin. It's pretty annoying, not to mention dangerous. Keep us posted if you get a solution.
i have been to 4 different dealer one out of state.all these dealer do is hook it up to the computer they say no codes found and take it for a test drive and say cant dupilacate problem.this is the last time i am giving them a chance to fix it and will envoke the lemon law. we tow a tralier alot and this is going to result in a bad accident.when it stalls no power steering, truck is hard to stop with a tralier behind it and no power brakes.why cant these so called engineers or service tech investagate this issue farther.are they not capable or what
Dave I had the same problem and after a new cam sensor, PCM, FICM, and them a second FICM they replaced the eng. wire harness and the fuel injection wire harness and so far so good about 3000 miles of no stalling.

My build date is 11/03. They just replaced the two wire harness not the motor, and it has been working great. It was the tech at the dealer that made the call to replace the harness.
