According to the attorney I have a "pretty good" chance of getting Ford to buy back my truck. If Ford does but back my truck I have two options. 1) Get my money back 2) Get a replacement "New" truck. My question is has anyone ever gone through this? What are to ups and downs of each option?
With option 1 I could do what ever I want with my money.
With option 2 I either pay the difference or get reimbursed the difference in sticker price for the truck I originally got and the truck I end up with.
I really enjoy my truck when it isn't in the shop being worked on and I am leaning towards option 2. I just hope that I don't end with another lemon.
Any advice or words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Other than the paint which is the worst thing listed, I'm not sure without a lawyer you'll get anywhere. Most likely Ford will only agree to repaint/repair all items under warranty and good faith and not replace the truck. What's say 5K in repairs compared to 20K+ for replacement? I say this because Chrysler would not work with me at all when the Neon I bought broke in every way known to man starting with the computer at 500 miles and ending with the tranny at 10K (everything in between had literally been replaced or repaired). I say ended because I got rid of it. I couldn't afford a lawyer at the time...but my uncle owned the dealership and bought it back from me and gave me an awsome deal on a Miata.
Good luck!
