Just wondering if any of you knew that you have to take the cab off a f350SD 6.0 in order to get the engine out check out these pics

It is much faster to lift the cab and front clip to pull the motor. These guys are "Flate rate techs" so they would not waste time. Plus they probably stay cleaner!

Yes these are flat rate techs at the dealership i work at and the one guy working on this and his apprentice have had a great deal of fun these past few days this truck has been at my work for two weeks because it had a terrible oil leak that they could not find without dying the oil and removing the starter etc. another reason they dont take the front end apart is usually once something like that is disturbed you will have the customer complaining about every squeak and rattle eminating from his truck for the next five years. I heard the owner of this truck came to look at the progress and was pretty upset I can't blame him.
The cause of all this work was that the seam on the bottom of the block before the oilpan was leaking aparentley the blocks on the 6.0 are two peices something i just learned from 6.0 liter information book.
