Rough Idle
After you put my Explorer in gear with you're foot on the brake and you turn the steering wheel you go into a rough idle around 500 to 600 RPM's It is kinda like CHug CHug CHug CHug. Well you get the idea. If you have had the prob. or have any ideas they are greatly welcome!!

That chuging sounds like the engine struggling to stay at the average idle of 1000rpm or so. Or it could be your Power Steering pump going at full steam if you have the wheel turned all one way. If you are losing Rpms when turning the wheel while in drive and not moving, you could be over taxing the pump or the vehicle electircal system, does the volt meter drop or lights dim? Just some crazy thinking!!

No i dont really think that it dims or changes the volts but i will watch it more carefull. Could I possibuly have a fouled spark plug, do you think I shoud have them changed it only has 44000 miles on it, whoud it be benifical or just waste money?????
