glow plugs replacement

i have been looking for a site or a link in order replace the glow plugs in my 00 ford 7.3 tubo diesel.

any help would be deeply appreciated.

Replacing the glow plugs is similar to replacing spark plugs, except they're under the valve cover, so you've got to dig to get to them. Getting the valve covers off is the time consuming part. After that, it's merely disconnecting the wiring harness under the valve cover, unscrewing the glow plug with a 10mm deep socket, and replacing with a new one. Pretty straight forward, really.

Yep, and the valve cover "gaskets" are re-usable, pretty fancy gizmos with the biggest/longest orings I've ever seen.
I'd hate to see the price of those things.

Oddly enough, I just replaced one of the valve cover gaskets on Tuesday, along with an internal wiring harness, and a replacement connector for the external wiring harness.
With my buddie's discount, I paid $45 for the valve cover gasket. I'm sure glad they're reusable.
