Panel under steering column
I have a 2001 Ranger and I am trying to install a remote starter, but I couldn't get the panel under the steering wheel off. Anyone know the trick? Took out 4 trox screws on the bottom but sometihing else is hold it at top. Didn't want to break it by forcing it..

I didnt even take off that panel, i just laid down and looked under the dash when i did my remote start. Biggest PITA thing i've ever done with the truck. would have been much easier taking off that panel. hope you get it off
