egr pipe

i might not be calling it buy its wright name not sure ! it is the pipe that runs from the valve in front of the horn , then it gose under the horn and in to the intake .( that thing gets real hot, it burned the sh__t out of me to day lol lol) i broke it today. it broke where it flexes is there any whey i can fix it are do i need to buy a new one . if so how much do they run , are can i try to find a used

You might be able to find a piece of small pipe that fits snug inside the two broken pieces and use hose clamps to secure the tubing together, it would probobly be best to just buy a new one I dont think it would be worth the effort to find a used one

you can buy silicone repair hose that is set up to repair egr, air hose piping. You can get it from your local NAPA store. I think its called an air injection repair kit. its about 10-15 bucks. I work at a local garage and thats what we use to patch broken or cut air injection pipe. I used it on my 92 f150 when i cut the air injection pipe to drop the exaust. If you replace the piping will need a lot of penatrating oil and probley heat. they are a pain to change.

I dont see why you can't cut these damn things off and just let them suck air.
