On a more somber note

Talked to the neighbor some more today. She has been diagnosed with breast canser. That was a ****er. So I have to say I am a little more humble about my truck. She had appologised profusly. They are paying the deductable and 100 for my time (can you say AIS). So that is where we are now. Truck gets picked up Fri should be done by Tues.

Now that that is behind me, Any one know wich vaccum line i can tap into for my boost gauge the red or green one that r on the front of the turbo looks like the MAP.

PS I live in Attleboro MA, My wife is connected and no i'm not going to kill her LOL.

I don't think you want to mess with the red or the green one. You want to tie into the black line that goes over to the MAP sensor.
Hope everything works out with your truck and the neighbor!

Sorry to hear about your neighbor. Big "C" sucks, lucky she didn't floor it and take you and your PSD out.

The line is a 1/4" hose that goes to the MAP sensor.

Link to photo on MAP and boost tap.

That's a shame, no wonder your neighbor was distracted.

I'm still glad you didn't get mashed.

When I get my service manual on CD I too shall be able to dispense advice confidently. It's on its way even as I type, hot off Ebay. Whether it's right or wrong advice will be a separate issue....

Yeah, once you learn how to navigate the silly thing. They seem do intentionally make a lot of stuff difficult to access.

I lose an uncle and a grandfather to the big C, I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I hope thay can cut it out before it gets her.
