Cool suspension

I have a 2002 3.0L V6 Ranger 2wd XLT that I'd like to lift.Im new to modifying trucks or any vehicles and I'd like to know some pros and cons between suspension and body lifts. I've heard alot and know many who've gone with suspension and I'm sorta leaning towards that. What are good deals as far as price and quality in a suspension lift? My truck is stock has all the same parts as it did leaving the show room, what, if anything would i need to change/alter to it?

Thank you in advance

Go with suspension lift! Body lift leaves bumper and frame gaps, the frame sags out the bottom, and u hav 2 extend everthing. Suspension looks better increases ground clearance, and is less complicated. As far as quality in lift go with skyjacker, rcd, or pro-comp. 4 lower price go with rough country. It depends on how much lift u buy as far as parts go. With 4 inch and up u need longer brake lines, increased drive shaft angles, steering stabilizers, shocks, etc....

I order my parts or go to a local Advance or Napa. There are some 4x4 stores in Va beach but i live on the middle peninsula and thats just too far to drive!
