none of which my engine had trouble with since all of it is new.
Last week, I was filling up at the gas station...(take note that I was having intermittent starting problems....getting that click no start sound...) It was usually fixed by laying down under and smacking the poor starter....(new high torqueFord starter!) wasn't happening this time.....
Keep in mind that people wanting to fill their rides up were piling up behind me...drawing some rude comments about Fords by Chevy owners....
Well I checked the wiring and the ignition lead (12 gauge wire)
with female slot connector at the end literally fell off the connector harness......it must have been hanging on by a strand 1 atom thick!!! I jambed it into the harness and fired it right up...
I told them to try finding a fix for their chevys that fast....and of course, got no replies...
I got home and proceeded to trim, recrimp a new connector harness onto the wire with shrink wrapping to protect against accidental contacts....I snapped it into place
and I cleaned up the large gauge cable connections.
The Bronco now starts the first crank....EVERYTIME!!!!
Just a heads up!!!
