I have a 2000 Explorer EB V8. I have been researching sparkplugs alot lately and i can find any usefull info. I don't know whether to choose between Iridium, Doubble Platinum, Splitfire,Ect. But I have Read a lot of good things about the Iridium. Also what are some other things that you can do to increse the performance.

I'd stick with Motorcraft plugs and wires. I replaced mine a while ago and I actually got 3 extra mpg. I guess mine were too old and that's why I lost the gas mileage.

 

Only use double plat. plugs....this is what ford calls for, anything else will cause hesitation and misfire..
