Heater motor switch

I just fixed this in my 93 f150, its the resister under the hood mounted in the blower housing next to the blower motor. Mine was mounted to the right of the blower motor. I picked a new resister up from the ford dealership for about $17.00. Pull the plug out and two screws hold it in the housing it was really simple to replace. Hope this helps

The current for all of the speeds except high is limited by a resistor in series with the blower motor. When the resistor opens up (no continuity) the only speed you will have is high speed when the selector switch is set to high. All of the other speeds will not work at all.
