Winch mount

Anyone have any pics of their winch mounted behind the stock front bumper on a 92-97 truck?

not behind.....and a stock bumper is not the smartest way to mount a winch! it isn't made for force applied from the backside!

i made mine out of steel I-beam and I love it!

Oh, no. I am fabricating a reinforced plate that mounts behind the bumper inbetween the frame rails. I will be slicing a hole in the bumper for the line feeder.
I was just wondering if anyone had done anything similar.

Everybody and their sister has. As long as you are mounting it to the frame and are using grade 8 or better bolts you are good to go. Welding it can be tricky, better to fab up the mounts and bolt it.

I should rephrase; "I was wondering if anyone had any pics of anything similar."
