platinum edition superduty

I am wondering where all these platinum edition trucks are. I live in colorado and have only seen one at a dealer. Any help is appreciated.

I read somewhere, (Kelly Blue Book, Edmunds, or Car Price) that the Platinum Edition was avaliable in Texas only. Maybe the one you saw in Colorado was dealer traded? I believe this truck has four captain's chairs and two center consoles, Like the Harley Davison and Ranch King supercrews.

I don't think I can agree that Texas has "a bunch," but I did look at five or six here in south central Texas before finding and choosing on of two equipped with the 5.4 engine in New Braunfels last September. The truck's interior is quite a bit different than the SuperCrews. The back seat is a bench with a nice rake to the back. Very comfortable with lots of leg room and a great view both to the front and sides. This truck gets lots of looks and compliments.

Hey buddy I live in Houston Tx and there are lots of platinum edition trucks on the freeway and on the lots.I know they are all crewcabs and have crome bumber on the front without the vallance(grey plastic). they are some type of grey 2tone color and they come with trailer towing mirrors that are color machted to the trucks grey color. On the inside they have platinum colored panels on the doors. thats all i know about them 99 swb 5.4 dark torredor red xlt
