Offset wheels
In the Super Duty forum a question was asked about off-center wheels and if it would put too much pressure on the bearings if the wheels set out 1 ¼’ further than the standard setup. Now, what about the dually bud wheels on the front? There is a spacer added to the hub so that you can run the same wheel on the front as you do the rear. That spacer is at least 3 inches long. I know the design of the wheel allows the weight to return to the center of the spindle, but the pressure is on the lugs. Am I missing something or is it so simple my complicated mind can’t fathom it?
What kind of stupid question is that? Let her run ‘til the wheels fall off! What does a spacer on a dually front hub have to do with the price of beans in China? I expect to run it ‘til the bumper drags, then slide in home and get another!
GET ‘ER DONE!
