quick and easy question

I have to pull my 302 because i have a hole in my block. Do I pull just the motor and leave the bellhouseing and clutch intact, or do I have to take it all apart or what? I know that an auto you have to take the torque convertor off of the flex plate, but ive never pulled the engine out of a stick shift. I am about to go do it now, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Unbolt the bellhousing from the motor and pull the engine, leaving the tranny in the truck. You'll find that the clutch is bolted to the flywheel and likes to come out with it. I think that you would have a really hard time unbolting the clutch and leaving it on the input shaft when you pulled the engine.
