swapping suspension

I am restoring a 78 f250 and wanting to get the front end up is it possible to put a highboy suspension on my truck? If it is, do I need to just put the springs on the front and block the rear or what?

I would just get some blocks, they are pretty cheap. A highboy is only like a 2 inch lift. You should be able to go a 4 inch with too many mods.

if you wanted your truck to sit like the "highboys" do stock, you just need a 2 inch lift....highboy front springs will bolt in your front, but the rears use different width springs and blocks

front blocks

blocks in the front suspension is very dangerous and should never be used. i think you could use a high boy spring to lift your 78 an inch or two. if there is any high boy guys out there running stock front spring maybe they could tell us how much arch a stock high boy front spring has and you could compare it to the 78 springs
