I'm currently working on a 460 in a 79 4x4 standard bed, 4" lift,
c6 trans, 35x12.5 bfg, dana 60 front and back w/ trac locks on both. The 460 has been bored, and has Speed Pro flattop pistons 9.14:1 92cc heads, gasket matched heads. standard Manley SS valves, 265 cam, harland sharp rollers, performer intake, 1 inch spacer, 700 dbl pmpr, Holley blue pump, Msd 6a hooked to a duraspark, 8mm wires, and hot gases threw big long tube headers dual 2 1/2" into flowmasters.
I just bought a set of rebuilt dove-c heads. and need advise on the following:
Heads: 2.24 intake 1.76 Exhaust SS race ferrara 6000's, comp cam dual springs. harland sharp rockers and a full port
Intake: Edelbrock Victor intake with dominator flange and 1" NOS spacer
Camshaft: Comp Cam 305 or Ford Motorsport 310
Carburetor: King demon 1095cfm, 1195cfm, or 1295cfm removable venturi sleeves.
NOS: Big Shot System 200-400 hp
Convertor: 3000 stall
Any thoughts or concerns would be appriciated. My friend is hoping for 500 hp
any advice on valve size and or prefrences carb size, cam size
anything I want to order stuff and get it ready for spring
