This past week, I purchased an F-2, but am not sure if it's a '48, '49 or'50 model. Is there a quick way to tell, other than VIN? It has the parking/signal lights on either side of the top row in the grill.
Also, I looked at the same vintage F-8, and it appears to have the big Lincoln Y-block in it. Anyone interested? It has an old Holmes wrecker on it.
The differences are so subtle between 48-50, there is no quick way to determine which year the truck is that I know of. The VIN is going to be your best bet. Get the number off the glove box door...
