Leveling 2WD
Has anyone here leveled a 2WD SD? I have a 2002 CC that I want to level out, but I can not find any information on anything but the 4WD models. I searched the archives here as well with no luck.
I don't want to lift the rear anymore than the stock height (I may eventually put slightly taller tires on, but that would be negligable), I just want to get the front end up.
Also, I wonder if doing this would make the rear sag under load. Currently, I don't haul anything but light loads; anything I tow or load the truck with hardly moves the rear suspension, but it seems to me that lifting the front without modifying the rear will shift some of the truck's weight to the rear, which would make it more susceptible to sagging.
Gas mileage was not a consideration when I bought this truck, but still, I wonder if leveling the truck affects mileage at all.

Fabtech makes a kit as does a few other companies, but they all incorporate an overall lift (Fabtech's is 4"). I just want to bring the front end up. I guess I could look into the coil spring spacers or the extenders, but those will probably harshen the ride.

hey Trail Master makes a kit for super duty but it is only 3" lift for the front . it runs about $440.00 their # 1 800 745 6109.
