It was 65.00 at EZ oil it sure beats the 150.00 at the dealer he even told me the same guy that sold and services his machine is the same guy that does the one at the ford garage just down the street Ihave no way of knowing that for sure but Im sure pleased with it
yeah it coulda been done that way but im just saying its not a bad deal considering the mess and your time spent not to mention if you dont have a garage it beats laying on the ground in the winter
My father had a transmission flush done on his old S-10 at a Quick 10 oil place about 12 years ago and about a week later.......poof that transmission was toast. It's easy to understand why that Quick 10 is defunct now. He doesn't like to do tranny work himself, but when neccessary, we do take our stuff to a respectable shop and they have done good work when its been needed.
Some one once told me that if you had not done a fluid change in 50k+ you should not do one at all it could cause more problems. Sounded crazy to me but always had me wondering? Anyone have any ideas on this?
drive through places employ minimum wage people who probably watched a video to qualify for turning wrenches on YOUR pride and joy.
I used to work in one of these places. Watch a video? Not even that much, we were showed a couple times how to do certain services and your qualified. Only one bad thing happend in the 2 years I worked there. A rear diff fluid service was being done and the knuckle head forgot to refill it when he was done. A big problem is everybody is in too much of a hurry to get em in and get em out. I would never take anything I own to a place like this except to change my oil.
