Question instrument cluster
On 99/01 f-series instrument cluster there is two taps to drive the tach. Select #1 is for V-10 and select #2 is for V-8. My question is select #2 has a resister wired thru it on the back of the cluster. Does anyone know how many ohms this resister is?

The only resistor I know of is a 1k ohm resisitor in the brake lamp wiring. What color code wire is it and can you read the color "bands" on the resistor?
