99 Ranger doesn't start

It was starting with gas to the floor. Now NO start

Plug Spark OK, checked

Is there a quick disconnect at engine for fuel line?

Appreciate your help

I haven't looked at mine but would expect a spring lock coupling at the fuel rail and also a valve on the fuel rail to test the fuel pressure. Remember that the system can have fuel under high pressure, follow the procedures in a manual.

Davedawe, when you turn the ign key to run, do you hear the fuel pump run for second or so???

Is the check engine light on? If so, pull the codes. It sounds like fuel pressure, but could be the throttle position sensor. The engine should start with the throttle in the idle position. That is what the pcm is expecting, so if it used to start with the throttle open, that's a good place to start. Check the tech notes here and on the 3.0 forum. Good luck.
