need help with seats
Hello everyone,I was wondering if seats from a 1956 f100
will bolt directly into a 1954 f100, iam not sure and could really use some help. I know the cab for the 56 was redesinged
any help would be great thanks in advance

Hi
Yes the seat from a 56 will fit a 54. If the 56 seat has been rebuilt to original specs it will have more padding then your 54 stock seat. Look in one of the supplier catalogs if you want the dimensions.

I bought a stock seat out of a 56 for my 54 from "Blitzcraig." The front holes lined up perfectly but the rear holes in the floor of the 54 were about 1" inside the legs of the 56 seat. It was no big deal, I just filled the old holes and drilled new ones. Good luck, John
